Lieutenant Georges Ejim-Long
Name Georges Ejim-Long
Position Chief Tactical Officer
|Physical Description||The thickly-built human often gives people the impression of an expanding barrel approaching them. His most distinguishing feature is his eyes; they constantly rove and lend an air of intensity to whatever he is doing.|
Personality & Traits
|General Overview||Ejim-Long is generally a kind individual despite his relatively gruff appearance. He is always quick to try and lend a hand. He is also also hard to stop when he is focused on completing a task.|
|Strengths & Weaknesses||Strengths: Once engaged, very hard working. He is also a strong listener and has a sincere desire to help everyone succeed.
Weaknesses: Prone to distraction at the outset of a project. Occasionally prone to outbursts of bitterness at hidden past failures
|Ambitions||He ultimately wants to rise to the top of Star Fleet command and become an architect for the organization's future success.
Ejim-Long also wants to show that youth is not a hindering factor in a Star Fleet officer.
|Hobbies & Interests||He loves the classics of Earth sci-fi, but is also very interested in comparitive xenohistory. Those combined pursuits have given rise to an intense interest in blindly exploring the universe in the hopes of finding unknown civilizations and technologies.|
|Personal History||Ejim-Long was born and raised in a small community in what was once known as the "Big Sky" region of the former United States. His family didn't have much, but provided him with everything they could to develop his interest in the world. His parents were wind farmers helping maintain the extensive energy grid for northern North America.
He joined Star Fleet after his grandfather died to continue the family tradition of service after receiving education. He showed tremendous ability at the academy as an organized thinker who could accomplish tasks quickly, though he was occasionally chastised for excessive fraternization.
He studied strategy heavily while focusing a great deal on how different alien species engaged each other as opposed to humanity. He ultimately finished in the top 10 of his class at the completion of study. After his studies he was assigned to the Excelsior class U.S.S. Lyon , where he served in some small scientific exploration. It participated in some analysis of gravitronic disruption close to a pulsar.
After the Lyon was decommissioned, Ejim-Long was promoted to Lieutenant JG and transferred to the larger and slightly more modern U.S.S. Tallinn, a Norway class. After the Tallinn encountered an unusual scientific phenomenon of an as yet unidentified variety, it was pulled from the assignment for refit and much of its junior crew was reassigned to other vessels.
